Pioneering mobile solution for a producer of 10,000 windows monthly

Kapica, a renowned manufacturer of PVC and aluminum windows and doors, embarked on an extensive B2B mobile application project. The goal was to enable customers to monitor orders and the status of rented racks while simultaneously facilitating Kapica’s employees in tracking payments and the rented assortment.

Project challenges

Kapica faced a dual challenge: delays in rack returns and the complexity of managing B2B documentation and orders. Special racks are used for the delivery of windows and doors, and timely returns are crucial. Unfortunately, clients often overlooked these deadlines, causing disruptions in fulfilling other customers’ orders.

Additionally, the cumbersome coordination required for document collection and payment monitoring compounded the inefficiencies. Furthermore, order and client data were scattered across four disparate external systems, adding a layer of complexity to daily operations.

How did we enhance Kapica’s order management process?

To align with Kapica’s business objectives, we conducted product workshops to identify client needs and tailored a set of solutions seamlessly integrated into the mobile application. Clients can now monitor rack return deadlines and receive alerts for any exceeding.

We designed a module for collecting, tracking, and managing customer orders, facilitating easy status checks. The system efficiently manages order-related documentation, streamlining invoice payment tracking with automated reminders to reduce delays.

Consolidating information about orders, racks, clients, and documents into a unified system required the creation of an MSSQL intermediary database. Our programmers built and implemented a database that now efficiently retrieving data from four independent systems. Thanks to effective planning, we were able to deliver the project earlier than initially anticipated

Moreover, our design team crafted and implemented the application’s user interface, ensuring it adheres to Kapica’s brand guidelines.
