IT projects can be complex. People, technology, clients, budgets, deadlines, and changing priorities – everything happens simultaneously.
That's why at Blurify, we're looking for an IT Project Manager who can bring all these elements together and transform them into a well-functioning project.
You'll join a team of four Project Managers. Each has their own project portfolio, for which they are end-to-end responsible. Together, you work to improve project management across the organization.
On a daily basis, PMs work closely with management, PO/BA, technical teams, and clients, ensuring the smooth flow of information and the effective delivery of goals.
We're not looking for someone who just keeps track of deadlines and statuses. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates problems, and has a real impact on projects and Blurify's development.
Scope of Projects:
1. Custom iGaming Platforms ➡️ We build solutions for clients that go beyond the limitations of white-label and turnkey models. We create platforms with a focus on product differentiation: community, multiplayer, engaging events, tournaments, and personalized user experience.
2. Platform Implementations for B2B Clients ➡️ We support the development and implementation of platforms for business clients, working closely with the product, client requirements, and real market needs.
3. AI-First Platform Framework ➡️ We are creating a platform framework from scratch that enables the rapid, secure, and repeatable building and development of iGaming platforms. We want AI-First to not be a marketing slogan, but a real way to accelerate development, standardize solutions, and mitigate technical risk.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the full lifecycle of software projects (from kick-off, through development and implementation, to maintenance).
- Be responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, and profitability of ongoing initiatives.
- Build partnerships with Blurify clients, regularly communicate project status, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Identify risks at an early stage, report them, and implement mitigation actions before they become real problems.
- Facilitate teamwork, remove blockers, and create conditions in which the team can operate effectively and self-organize.
- Monitor project finances and take actions to ensure their business viability.
- Implement systemic changes and process improvements that increase the efficiency of not only individual projects but also Blurify as a whole.
- Ensure knowledge transfer, the sharing of best practices, and the development of PMO work standards.
- Manage the worklog and timetracking process, including monitoring auto-submissions, alerts, and the completeness of data necessary for accurate invoicing.
- Conduct regular feedback meetings, focusing on building engagement and support for team members.
Your Experience and Competencies
🎯Must Have:
At least 2 years of experience in managing end-to-end software projects – from the discovery phase to implementation.
Excellent knowledge of SDLC and practical experience working with Agile methodologies – Scrum and Kanban.
Experience managing the budget, costs, and profitability of IT projects.
Excellent knowledge of Jira and Confluence, particularly in the areas of reporting, velocity monitoring, and documentation.
Proficiency in using AI and automation to streamline the daily work of a Project Manager.
Ability to build relationships with clients and effectively manage stakeholders, including in crisis situations.
Assertiveness and excellent negotiation skills – especially in the areas of scope creep, priorities, and team protection.
A strong sense of ownership – you take responsibility for the initiative from concept to its business success.
Proactiveness in identifying risks and taking corrective actions. Analytical approach to decision-making – you can work with KPIs and project data, not just intuition.
Excellent command of English and Polish (minimum C1).
Ability to share knowledge, mentor, and promote best practices.
Stress resistance, good work organization, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
Willingness to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days per week from the Wrocław office).
💡Your style:
We believe in Servant Leadership. We're not looking for a Project Manager who just keeps track of deadlines and statuses. We're looking for someone who:
sees problems before they become roadblocks,
is able to say "no" when it protects the project or team,
is able to discuss both successes and difficult topics with clients,
looks for the causes of systemic problems rather than just putting out fires,
uses data to make decisions,
helps teams perform better rather than managing them through control,
takes responsibility and delivers.
