IT projects are a combination of people, technology, clients, budgets, deadlines, and evolving priorities. We're looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who can effectively combine these elements and deliver complex initiatives from discovery to implementation.
You'll join a team of four PMs. Each is responsible for their own project portfolio, but together we develop project management standards across Blurify.
As a Senior PM, you'll have influence not only on your own projects but also on clients, processes, the PMO, and the development of the PM team.
Scope of Projects:
1. Custom iGaming Platforms ➡️ We build solutions for clients that go beyond the limitations of white-label and turnkey models. We create platforms with a focus on product differentiation: community, multiplayer, engaging events, tournaments, and personalized user experience.
2. Platform Implementations for B2B Clients ➡️ We support the development and implementation of platforms for business clients, working closely with the product, client requirements, and real market needs.
3. AI-First Platform Framework ➡️ We are creating a platform framework from scratch that enables the rapid, secure, and repeatable building and development of iGaming platforms. We want AI-First to not be a marketing slogan, but a real way to accelerate development, standardize solutions, and mitigate technical risk.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the full lifecycle of complex software projects – from discovery, through development and implementation, to maintenance.
- Be responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, risks, and profitability of ongoing initiatives.
- Coordinate projects involving multiple teams, business areas, and stakeholder groups.
- Build partnerships with Blurify clients and manage the expectations of various decision-making levels on the client's side.
- Independently conduct difficult conversations and negotiations with the client, including when it is necessary to challenge expectations, scope, or priorities.
- Identify risks and issues early and take mitigating actions before they impact the scope, deadline, budget, or quality of the project.
- Ensure that projects are conducted in accordance with software development process standards – enforcing appropriate checkpoints, practices, and workflows, rather than reacting only when a problem arises.
- Facilitate teamwork, remove blockers, and create conditions in which teams can operate effectively and self-organize. Monitor project finances, analyze data, and take actions to ensure their business viability.
- Analyze KPIs and project data and use them to make decisions and anticipate potential problems.
- Propose and implement process and system improvements that increase the efficiency of not only your projects but also the entire organization.
- Identify systemic issues and initiate solutions before they become recurring problems for teams or clients.
- Ensure knowledge transfer, development of PMO work standards, and sharing of best practices.
- Mentor and support other Project Managers, helping them develop their skills, make difficult decisions, and navigate complex project situations.
- Support the PMO in improving the quality of project management and developing common standards.
- Manage worklog and timetracking processes, including ensuring auto-submissions, alerts, and the completeness of data necessary for accurate invoicing.
- Conduct regular feedback meetings, focusing on building engagement, development, and support for team members.
Your Experience and Competencies
🎯Must Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing end-to-end software projects.
- Experience in managing several projects simultaneously, involving multiple teams and areas.
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC and practical experience working with Agile methodologies – Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to enforce standards, checkpoints, and best project practices.
- Proven experience managing the budget, costs, and profitability of IT projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Jira and Confluence, particularly in the areas of reporting, velocity monitoring, and documentation.
- Proficiency in using AI and automation to improve the daily work of a Project Manager.
- Experience in managing relationships with multiple stakeholder groups, including client-side decision-makers.
- Experience in conducting difficult conversations, negotiations, and escalations with clients.
- Strong sense of ownership – you take responsibility for the initiative from concept to its business success. Proactivity – you don't just react to problems, but also propose solutions and improvements independently before others ask for them.
- Analytical approach to decision-making – you can work with KPIs, financial data, and project data, not just intuition.
- Proven experience implementing process improvements beyond a single project.
- Experience mentoring, onboarding, or providing ongoing support to other Project Managers.
Excellent command of English and Polish (minimum C1).
Ability to share knowledge, mentor, and promote best practices.
Stress resistance, good work organization, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
Willingness to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days per week from the Wrocław office).
💡Your style:
We believe in Servant Leadership. We're not looking for a Project Manager who just keeps track of deadlines and statuses. We're looking for someone who:
- gets ahead of problems rather than just solving them,
- is able to say "no" when it protects the project or business,
- independently handles difficult conversations with clients,
- understands the software development process and can enforce its standards,
- proposes solutions before anyone asks for them,
- helps teams perform better without micromanagement,
- raises the skills of other PMs,
- looks beyond the project and truly influences Blurify's development.
