Senior Node.js Developer

As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for creating scalable, high-performance applications and services based on Node.js technology. We are looking for someone with experience working with modern frameworks and tools, who is capable of solving complex problems and implementing innovative solutions. Your daily duties:
Implementing new functionalities in web applications on the backend side
Adhering to best development practices and implementing innovative solutions
Analyzing business and technical requirements and developing implementation strategies
Maintaining existing features, debugging, and solving problems
Ensuring quality through code reviews and static analysis
Monitoring and analyzing application performance, identifying, and solving issues
Collaborating with the development team, tester, Project Manager, and BA
Creating technical and project documentation
Actively participating in daily meetings with the team and clients from Poland and abroad
Periodically participating in project estimations – supporting business activities
Providing support to junior developers in the team
Sharing knowledge and team experience
Participating in product workshops
Our expectations:
At least 5 years of commercial experience in backend development using Node.js
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (at least 2 days a week in the office in Wrocław).
Good knowledge of Express.js and NestJS frameworks
Strong knowledge of TypeScript
Experience working with SQL databases and using ORM, e.g., TypeORM
Knowledge of GIT version control system
Experience in designing and creating REST APIs
Practical knowledge of SOLID principles and ability to design based on design patterns
Experience in writing unit and end-to-end tests, e.g., using Jest
Knowledge of NPM and dependency management in projects
Solid knowledge and experience working with Docker containers
Knowledge of microservices and experience working with them
Ability to collaborate within a team, openness to suggestions, and sharing knowledge
Willingness to develop and enhance qualifications
Knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level
Nice-to-have:
Experience working with RabbitMQ
Practical knowledge of Redis
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and ability to implement them
